ABOUT THIS COURSE

Course Overview

Our Clinical Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine takes you beyond theory into real, supervised clinical practice. Working alongside experienced faculty, you'll assess patients, plan treatments and deliver injectable procedures under direct mentorship — building the judgement and technical skill that only comes from hands-on clinical exposure.

Structured around anatomy and professional practice, toxin treatments and dermal fillers, the fellowship pairs focused teaching with live clinical assessment each weekend, so your skills are tested and refined in real time rather than left to self-study.

What You'll Learn?

Course Details

The fellowship is delivered across 16 clinical training days, once every weekend over four months, so you can keep working while you train. Each session pairs supervised patient treatment with structured faculty feedback, consolidating your learning in real time rather than leaving it to later practice.

This weekend-based model is built for working clinicians — minimising disruption to your existing practice while still delivering the intensive, hands-on contact hours a clinical fellowship demands.

Key Information

Entry Requirements & Prerequisites

Applicants should hold a recognised healthcare qualification (medicine, dentistry, nursing or an allied health profession) and be registered with the relevant professional body. Prior aesthetic experience is beneficial but not essential — the programme takes delegates from foundational to advanced clinical competence.

Our Teaching Approach

Learning here is clinical, not just theoretical. Small faculty-to-delegate ratios mean every session includes live patient assessment, hands-on treatment and immediate, individual feedback — so technique is corrected and reinforced in the room, not after the fact.

Progression Route

On completing the fellowship, delegates can progress into independent aesthetic practice, take on more advanced injectable and combination treatments, or move into further specialist training such as regenerative medicine, advanced rhinoplasty technique or postgraduate-level study — building a clear pathway from foundation training to advanced clinical expertise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know

The Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Aesthetic Medicine is delivered through a blended academic and clinical model, combining structured theoretical learning with supervised applied practice. Assessment is evidence-based and mapped against nationally recognised qualification standards.

How is the course delivered?

Training runs once every weekend over four months, combining supervised clinical practice with structured teaching — so you can complete the fellowship while continuing to work.

Do I need previous aesthetic experience?

No. The fellowship takes you from core anatomy and professional foundations through to advanced injectable technique, so it suits both newcomers to aesthetics and those building on existing experience.

Will I treat real patients during training?

Yes. The fellowship is clinically supervised throughout, with live patient assessment and hands-on injectable treatment forming the core of every training weekend.

Who is this fellowship open to?

Doctors, dentists, dental nurses, dental hygienists and therapists, nurses and midwives, nursing associates, physician associates and other allied health professionals holding a recognised healthcare qualification and professional registration.

How many delegates are in each cohort?

Cohorts are kept small so every delegate gets direct, one-to-one supervision and feedback during live patient sessions, rather than learning at a distance in a large group.

What happens if I miss a training weekend?

Speak to our admissions team as early as possible — missed sessions can usually be made up on an alternative date so your clinical hours and progression aren't affected.

Is the fellowship accredited?

Yes. The programme is clinically supervised and assessed against recognised industry standards, giving you a verified, evidence-based record of your injectable practice.

What support is available after I complete the fellowship?

Graduates retain access to faculty mentorship and guidance as they move into independent practice, along with routes into further specialist training as their scope of practice develops.
