What will I learn to do?

You will develop hands-on competence across the full technician pathway, from scalp science, trichoscopy and patient consultation through to graft handling, implantation technique, theatre management, complication management and regenerative therapies. Training is designed under the supervision of an ISHRS Fellow and ABHRS-certified surgeon.

Do I need a medical qualification to enrol?

No. This course is open to everyone aged 18 and above, regardless of background. No prior medical or surgical qualification is required. A background in healthcare or aesthetics is helpful but not essential.

Can I study online, or is attendance required?

Both. Theory is delivered online at your own pace. Hands-on practical training takes place in person over three intensive days, including supervised sessions and live model demonstrations. Both elements must be completed to qualify.

How is the course assessed?

Through four components: a written knowledge examination, a practical competency assessment, case-based clinical scenarios, and a clinical logbook completed across the three training days.
